Psalm 92
Psa 92:1 IT IS A GOOD THING TO GIVE THANKS UNTO THE LORD, AND TO SING PRAISES UNTO THY NAME, O MOST HIGH: Psa 92:1 It is good to give thanks to the Lord And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; Psa 92:1 ψαλμὸς ᾠδῆς εἰς τὴν ἡμέραν τοῦ σαββάτου
Psa 92:2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, Psa 92:2 To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning And Your faithfulness by night, Psa 92:2 ἀγαθὸν τὸ ἐξομολογεῖσθαι τῷ κυρίῳ καὶ ψάλλειν τῷ ὀνόματί σου ὕψιστε
Psa 92:3 Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound. Psa 92:3 With the ten-stringed lute and with the harp, With resounding music upon the lyre. Psa 92:3 τοῦ ἀναγγέλλειν τὸ πρωὶ τὸ ἔλεός σου καὶ τὴν ἀλήθειάν σου κατὰ νύκτα
Psa 92:4 For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands. Psa 92:4 For You, O Lord, have made me glad by what You have done, I will sing for joy at the works of Your hands. Psa 92:4 ἐν δεκαχόρδῳ ψαλτηρίῳ μετ᾽ ᾠδῆς ἐν κιθάρᾳ
Psa 92:5 O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep. Psa 92:5 How great are Your works, O Lord! Your thoughts are very deep. Psa 92:5 ὅτι εὔφρανάς με κύριε ἐν τῷ ποιήματί σου καὶ ἐν τοῖς ἔργοις τῶν χειρῶν σου ἀγαλλιάσομαι
Psa 92:6 A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this. Psa 92:6 A senseless man has no knowledge, Nor does a stupid man understand this: Psa 92:6 ὡς ἐμεγαλύνθη τὰ ἔργα σου κύριε σφόδρα ἐβαθύνθησαν οἱ διαλογισμοί σου
Psa 92:7 When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever: Psa 92:7 That when the wicked sprouted up like grass And all who did iniquity flourished, It was only that they might be destroyed forevermore. Psa 92:7 ἀνὴρ ἄφρων οὐ γνώσεται καὶ ἀσύνετος οὐ συνήσει ταῦτα
Psa 92:8 But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore. Psa 92:8 But You, O Lord, are on high forever. Psa 92:8 ἐν τῷ ἀνατεῖλαι τοὺς ἁμαρτωλοὺς ὡς χόρτον καὶ διέκυψαν πάντες οἱ ἐργαζόμενοι τὴν ἀνομίαν ὅπως ἂν ἐξολεθρευθῶσιν εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος
Psa 92:9 For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered. Psa 92:9 For, behold, Your enemies, O Lord, For, behold, Your enemies will perish; All who do iniquity will be scattered. Psa 92:9 σὺ δὲ ὕψιστος εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα κύριε
Psa 92:10 But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil. Psa 92:10 But You have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil. Psa 92:10 ὅτι ἰδοὺ οἱ ἐχθροί σου ἀπολοῦνται καὶ διασκορπισθήσονται πάντες οἱ ἐργαζόμενοι τὴν ἀνομίαν
Psa 92:11 Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me. Psa 92:11 And my eye has looked exultantly upon my foes, My ears hear of the evildoers who rise up against me. Psa 92:11 καὶ ὑψωθήσεται ὡς μονοκέρωτος τὸ κέρας μου καὶ τὸ γῆράς μου ἐν ἐλαίῳ πίονι
Psa 92:12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Psa 92:12 The righteous man will flourish like the palm tree, He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Psa 92:12 καὶ ἐπεῖδεν ὁ ὀφθαλμός μου ἐν τοῖς ἐχθροῖς μου καὶ ἐν τοῖς ἐπανιστανομένοις ἐπ᾽ ἐμὲ πονηρευομένοις ἀκούσεται τὸ οὖς μου
Psa 92:13 Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. Psa 92:13 Planted in the house of the Lord, They will flourish in the courts of our God. Psa 92:13 δίκαιος ὡς φοῖνιξ ἀνθήσει ὡσεὶ κέδρος ἡ ἐν τῷ Λιβάνῳ πληθυνθήσεται
Psa 92:14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; Psa 92:14 They will still yield fruit in old age; They shall be full of sap and very green, Psa 92:14 πεφυτευμένοι ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ κυρίου ἐν ταῖς αὐλαῖς τοῦ θεοῦ ἡμῶν ἐξανθήσουσιν
Psa 92:15 To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him. Psa 92:15 To declare that the Lord is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him. Psa:92:15:ἔτι πληθυνθήσονται ἐν γήρει πίονι καὶ εὐπαθοῦντες ἔσονται Psa 91:16 τοῦ ἀναγγεῖλαι ὅτι εὐθὴς κύριος ὁ θεός μου καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ἀδικία ἐν αὐτῷ
