Es geschah im Monat Chislev des zwanzigsten Jahres, da ich war zu Susan auf dem Schloß,
Neh 1:2 That Hanani, one of my brethren, came, he and certain men of Judah; and I asked them concerning the Jews that had escaped, which were left of the captivity, and concerning Jerusalem. (kjv)	Neh.1:2 da kam Hanani, einer meiner Brüder, mit etlichen Männern aus Juda. Und ich fragte sie, wie es den Juden ginge, die errettet und übrig waren von der Gefangenschaft, und wie es zu Jerusalem ginge.
Neh 1:3 And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire. (kjv)	Neh.1:3 Und sie sprachen zu mir: Die übrigen von der Gefangenschaft sind daselbst im Lande in großem Unglück und Schmach; die Mauern Jerusalems sind zerbrochen und seine Tore mit Feuer verbrannt.
Neh 1:4 And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven, (kjv)	Neh.1:4 Da ich aber solche Worte hörte, saß ich und weinte und trug Leid etliche Tage und fastete und betete vor dem Gott des Himmels
Neh 1:5 And said, I beseech thee, O LORD God of heaven, the great and terrible God, that keepeth covenant and mercy for them that love him and observe his commandments: (kjv)	Neh.1:5 und sprach: Ach HERR, Gott des Himmels, großer und schrecklicher Gott, der da hält den Bund und die Barmherzigkeit denen, die ihn lieben und seine Gebote halten,
Neh 1:6 Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father's house have sinned. (kjv)	Neh.1:6 laß doch deine Ohren aufmerken und deine Augen offen sein, daß du hörst das Gebet deines Knechtes, das ich nun vor dir bete Tag und Nacht für die Kinder Israel, deine Knechte, und bekenne die Sünden der Kinder Israel, die wir an dir getan haben; und ich und meines Vaters Haus haben auch gesündigt.
Neh 1:7 We have dealt very corruptly against thee, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the judgments, which thou commandedst thy servant Moses. (kjv)	Neh.1:7 Wir haben an dir mißgehandelt, daß wir nicht gehalten haben die Gebote, Befehle und Rechte, die du geboten hast deinem Knecht Mose.
Neh 1:8 Remember, I beseech thee, the word that thou commandedst thy servant Moses, saying, If ye transgress, I will scatter you abroad among the nations: (kjv)	Neh.1:8 Gedenke aber doch des Wortes, das du deinem Knecht Mose gebotest und sprachst: Wenn ihr euch versündigt, so will ich euch unter die Völker streuen.
Neh 1:9 But if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there. (kjv)	Neh.1:9 Wo ihr euch aber bekehrt zu mir und haltet meine Gebote und tut sie, und ob ihr verstoßen wäret bis an der Himmel Ende, so will ich euch doch von da versammeln und will euch bringen an den Ort, den ich erwählt habe, daß mein Name daselbst wohne.
Neh 1:10 Now these are thy servants and thy people, whom thou hast redeemed by thy great power, and by thy strong hand. (kjv)	Neh.1:10 Sie sind ja doch deine Knechte und dein Volk, die du erlöst hast durch deine große Kraft und mächtige Hand.
Neh 1:11 O LORD, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the king's cupbearer.(kjv)	Neh.1:11 Ach HERR, laß deine Ohren aufmerken auf das Gebet deines Knechtes und auf das Gebet deiner Knechte, die da begehren deinen Namen zu fürchten; und laß es deinem Knecht heute gelingen und gib ihm Barmherzigkeit vor diesem Manne! Denn ich war des Königs Schenke.
Neh 2:1 And it came to pass in the month Nisan, in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that wine was before him: and I took up the wine, and gave it unto the king. Now I had not been beforetime sad in his presence. (kjv)	Neh.2:1 Im Monat Nisan des zwanzigsten Jahre des Königs Arthahsastha, da Wein vor ihm stand, hob ich den Wein auf und gab dem König; und ich sah traurig vor ihm.
Neh 2:2 Wherefore the king said unto me, Why is thy countenance sad, seeing thou art not sick? this is nothing else but sorrow of heart. Then I was very sore afraid, (kjv)	Neh.2:2 Da sprach der König zu mir: Warum siehst du so übel? Du bist ja nicht krank? Das ist's nicht, sondern du bist schwermütig. Ich aber fürchtete mich gar sehr
Neh 2:3 And said unto the king, Let the king live for ever: why should not my countenance be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers' sepulchres, lieth waste, and the gates thereof are consumed with fire? (kjv)	Neh.2:3 und sprach zu dem König: Der König lebe ewiglich! Sollte ich nicht übel sehen? Die Stadt da das Begräbnis meiner Väter ist, liegt wüst, und ihre Tore sind mit Feuer verzehrt.
Neh 2:4 Then the king said unto me, For what dost thou make request? So I prayed to the God of heaven. (kjv)	Neh.2:4 Da sprach der König: Was forderst du denn? da betete ich zu dem Gott des Himmels
Neh 2:5 And I said unto the king, If it please the king, and if thy servant have found favour in thy sight, that thou wouldest send me unto Judah, unto the city of my fathers' sepulchres, that I may build it. (kjv)	Neh.2:5 und sprach zum König: Gefällt es dem König und ist dein Knecht angenehm vor dir, so wollest du mich senden nach Juda zu der Stadt des Begräbnisses meiner Väter, daß ich sie baue.
Neh 2:6 And the king said unto me, (the queen also sitting by him,) For how long shall thy journey be? and when wilt thou return? So it pleased the king to send me; and I set him a time. (kjv)	Neh.2:6 Und der König sprach zu mir und die Königin, die neben ihm saß: Wie lange wird deine Reise währen, und wann wirst du wiederkommen? Und es gefiel dem König, daß er mich hinsendete. Und ich setzte ihm eine bestimmte Zeit
Neh 2:7 Moreover I said unto the king, If it please the king, let letters be given me to the governors beyond the river, that they may convey me over till I come into Judah; (kjv)	Neh.2:7 und sprach zum König: Gefällt es dem König, so gebe man mir Briefe an die Landpfleger jenseit des Wassers, daß sie mich hinübergeleiten, bis ich komme nach Juda,
Neh 2:8 And a letter unto Asaph the keeper of the king's forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the palace which appertained to the house, and for the wall of the city, and for the house that I shall enter into. And the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me. (kjv)	Neh.2:8 und Briefe an Asaph den Holzfürsten des Königs, daß er mir Holz gebe zu Balken der Pforten an der Burg beim Tempel und zu der Stadtmauer und zum Hause, da ich einziehen soll. Und der König gab mir nach der guten Hand meines Gottes über mir.
Neh 2:9 Then I came to the governors beyond the river, and gave them the king's letters. Now the king had sent captains of the army and horsemen with me. (kjv)	Neh.2:9 Und da ich kam zu den Landpflegern jenseit des Wassers, gab ich ihnen des Königs Briefe. Und der König sandte mit mir Hauptleute und Reiter.
Neh 2:10 When Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, heard of it, it grieved them exceedingly that there was come a man to seek the welfare of the children of Israel. (kjv)	Neh.2:10 Da aber das hörten Saneballat, der Horoniter, und Tobia, der ammonitische Knecht, verdroß es sie sehr, daß ein Mensch gekommen wäre, der Gutes suchte für die Kinder Israel.
Neh 2:11 So I came to Jerusalem, and was there three days. (kjv)	Neh.2:11 Und da ich gen Jerusalem kam und drei Tage da gewesen war,
Neh 2:12 And I arose in the night, I and some few men with me; neither told I any man what my God had put in my heart to do at Jerusalem: neither was there any beast with me, save the beast that I rode upon. (kjv)	Neh.2:12 machte ich mich des Nachts auf und wenig Männer mit mir (denn ich sagte keinem Menschen, was mir mein Gott eingegeben hatte zu tun an Jerusalem), und war kein Tier mit mir, ohne das, darauf ich ritt.
Neh 2:13 And I went out by night by the gate of the valley, even before the dragon well, and to the dung port, and viewed the walls of Jerusalem, which were broken down, and the gates thereof were consumed with fire. (kjv)	Neh.2:13 Und ich ritt zum Taltor aus bei der Nacht und gegen den Drachenbrunnen und an das Misttor; und es tat mir wehe, daß die Mauern Jerusalems eingerissen waren und die Tore mit Feuer verzehrt.
Neh 2:14 Then I went on to the gate of the fountain, and to the king's pool: but there was no place for the beast that was under me to pass. (kjv)	Neh.2:14 Und ging hinüber zu dem Brunnentor und zu des Königs Teich; und war da nicht Raum meinem Tier, daß es unter mir hätte gehen können.
Neh 2:15 Then went I up in the night by the brook, and viewed the wall, and turned back, and entered by the gate of the valley, and so returned. (kjv)	Neh.2:15 Da zog ich bei Nacht den Bach hinan; und es tat mir wehe, die Mauern also zu sehen. Und kehrte um und kam zum Taltor wieder heim.
Neh 2:16 And the rulers knew not whither I went, or what I did; neither had I as yet told it to the Jews, nor to the priests, nor to the nobles, nor to the rulers, nor to the rest that did the work. (kjv)	Neh.2:16 Und die Obersten wußten nicht, wo ich hinging oder was ich machte; denn ich hatte bis daher den Juden und den Priestern, den Ratsherren und den Obersten und den andern, die am Werk arbeiteten, nichts gesagt.
Neh 2:17 Then said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burned with fire: come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach. (kjv)	Neh.2:17 Und ich sprach zu ihnen: Ihr seht das Unglück, darin wir sind, daß Jerusalem wüst liegt und seine Tore sind mit Feuer verbrannt. Kommt, laßt uns die Mauern Jerusalems bauen, daß wir nicht mehr eine Schmach seien!
Neh 2:18 Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me; as also the king's words that he had spoken unto me. And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work. (kjv)	Neh.2:18 Und sagte ihnen an die Hand meines Gottes, die gut über mir war, dazu die Worte des Königs, die er zu mir geredet hatte. Und sie sprachen: So laßt uns auf sein und bauen! Und ihre Hände wurden gestärkt zum Guten.
Neh 2:19 But when Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, and Geshem the Arabian, heard it, they laughed us to scorn, and despised us, and said, What is this thing that ye do? will ye rebel against the king? (kjv)	Neh.2:19 Da aber das Saneballat, der Horoniter und Tobia, der ammonitische Knecht, und Gesem, der Araber, hörten, spotteten sie unser und verachteten uns und sprachen: Was ist das, das ihr tut? Wollt ihr von dem König abfallen?
Neh 2:20 Then answered I them, and said unto them, The God of heaven, he will prosper us; therefore we his servants will arise and build: but ye have no portion, nor right, nor memorial, in Jerusalem.(kjv)	Neh.2:20 Da antwortete ich ihnen und sprach: Der Gott des Himmels wird es uns gelingen lassen; denn wir, seine Knechte, haben uns aufgemacht und bauen. Ihr aber habt kein Teil noch Recht noch Gedächtnis in Jerusalem.
Neh 3:1 Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brethren the priests, and they builded the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up the doors of it; even unto the tower of Meah they sanctified it, unto the tower of Hananeel. (kjv)	Neh.3:1 Und Eljasib, der Hohepriester, machte sich auf mit seinen Brüdern, den Priestern und bauten das Schaftor. Sie heiligten es und setzten seine Türen ein. Sie heiligten es aber bis an den Turm Mea, bis an den Turm Hananeel.
Neh 3:2 And next unto him builded the men of Jericho. And next to them builded Zaccur the son of Imri. (kjv)	Neh.3:2 Neben ihm bauten die Männer von Jericho. Und daneben baute Sakkur, der Sohn Imris.
Neh 3:3 But the fish gate did the sons of Hassenaah build, who also laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof. (kjv)	Neh.3:3 Aber das Fischtor bauten die Kinder von Senaa, sie deckten es und setzten seine Türen ein, Schlösser und Riegel.
Neh 3:4 And next unto them repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah, the son of Koz. And next unto them repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah, the son of Meshezabeel. And next unto them repaired Zadok the son of Baana. (kjv)	Neh.3:4 Neben ihnen baute Meremoth, der Sohn Urias, des Sohnes Hakkoz. Neben ihnen baute Mesullam, der Sohn Berechjas, des Sohnes Mesesabeels. Neben ihnen baute Zadok, der Sohn Baanas.
Neh 3:5 And next unto them the Tekoites repaired; but their nobles put not their necks to the work of their LORD. (kjv)	Neh.3:5 Neben ihnen bauten die von Thekoa; aber ihre Vornehmeren brachten ihren Hals nicht zum Dienst ihrer Herren.
Neh 3:6 Moreover the old gate repaired Jehoiada the son of Paseah, and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah; they laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks thereof, and the bars thereof. (kjv)	Neh.3:6 Das alte Tor baute Jojada, der Sohn Paseahs, und Mesullam, der Sohn Besodjas; sie deckten es und setzten ein seine Türen und Schlösser und Riegel.
Neh 3:7 And next unto them repaired Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, unto the throne of the governor on this side the river. (kjv)	Neh.3:7 Neben ihnen bauten Melatja von Gibeon und Jadon von Meronoth, die Männer von Gibeon und von Mizpa, am Stuhl des Landpflegers diesseit des Wassers.
Neh 3:8 Next unto him repaired Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, of the goldsmiths. Next unto him also repaired Hananiah the son of one of the apothecaries, and they fortified Jerusalem unto the broad wall. (kjv)	Neh.3:8 Daneben baute Usiel, der Sohn des Harhajas, der Goldschmied. Neben ihm baute Hananja, der Sohn der Salbenbereiter; und sie bauten aus zu Jerusalem bis an die breite Mauer.
Neh 3:9 And next unto them repaired Rephaiah the son of Hur, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem. (kjv)	Neh.3:9 Neben ihm baute Rephaja, der Sohn Hurs, der Oberste des halben Kreises von Jerusalem.
Neh 3:10 And next unto them repaired Jedaiah the son of Harumaph, even over against his house. And next unto him repaired Hattush the son of Hashabniah. (kjv)	Neh.3:10 Neben ihm baute Jedaja, der Sohn Harumaphs, gegenüber seinem Hause. Neben ihm baute Hattus, der Sohn Hasabnejas.
Neh 3:11 Malchijah the son of Harim, and Hashub the son of Pahathmoab, repaired the other piece, and the tower of the furnaces. (kjv)	Neh.3:11 Aber Malchia, der Sohn Harims, und Hassub, der Sohn Pahath-Moabs, bauten ein andres Stück und den Ofenturm.
Neh 3:12 And next unto him repaired Shallum the son of Halohesh, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem, he and his daughters. (kjv)	Neh.3:12 Daneben baute Sallum, der Sohn des Halohes, der Oberste des andern halben Kreises von Jerusalem, er und seine Töchter.
Neh 3:13 The valley gate repaired Hanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and a thousand cubits on the wall unto the dung gate. (kjv)	Neh.3:13 Das Taltor bauten Hanun und die Bürger von Sanoah, sie bauten's und setzten ein seine Türen, Schlösser und Riegel, und tausend Ellen an der Mauer bis an das Misttor.
Neh 3:14 But the dung gate repaired Malchiah the son of Rechab, the ruler of part of Bethhaccerem; he built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof. (kjv)	Neh.3:14 Das Misttor aber baute Malchia, der Sohn Rechabs, der Oberste des Kreises von Beth-Cherem; er baute es und setzte ein seine Türen, Schlösser und Riegel.
Neh 3:15 But the gate of the fountain repaired Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of part of Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and the wall of the pool of Siloah by the king's garden, and unto the stairs that go down from the city of David. (kjv)	Neh.3:15 Aber das Brunnentor baute Sallun, der Sohn Chol-Hoses, der Oberste des Kreises von Mizpa, er baute es und deckte es und setzte ein seine Türen, Schlösser und Riegel, dazu die Mauer am Teich Siloah bei dem Garten des Königs bis an die Stufen, die von der Stadt Davids herabgehen.
Neh 3:16 After him repaired Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, the ruler of the half part of Bethzur, unto the place over against the sepulchres of David, and to the pool that was made, and unto the house of the mighty. (kjv)	Neh.3:16 Nach ihm baute Nehemia, der Sohn Asbuks, der Oberste des halben Kreises von Beth-Zur, bis gegenüber den Gräbern Davids und bis an den Teich, den man gemacht hatte, und bis an das Haus der Helden.
Neh 3:17 After him repaired the Levites, Rehum the son of Bani. Next unto him repaired Hashabiah, the ruler of the half part of Keilah, in his part. (kjv)	Neh.3:17 Nach ihm bauten die Leviten, Rehum, der Sohn Banis. Neben ihm baute Hasabja, der Oberste des halben Kreises von Kegila, für seinen Kreis.
Neh 3:18 After him repaired their brethren, Bavai the son of Henadad, the ruler of the half part of Keilah. (kjv)	Neh.3:18 Nach ihm bauten ihre Brüder, Bavvai, der Sohn Henadads, der Oberste des andern halben Kreises von Kegila.
Neh 3:19 And next to him repaired Ezer the son of Jeshua, the ruler of Mizpah, another piece over against the going up to the armoury at the turning of the wall. (kjv)	Neh.3:19 Neben ihm baute Eser, der Sohn Jesuas, der Oberste zu Mizpa, ein anderes Stück den Winkel hinan gegenüber dem Zeughaus.
Neh 3:20 After him Baruch the son of Zabbai earnestly repaired the other piece, from the turning of the wall unto the door of the house of Eliashib the high priest. (kjv)	Neh.3:20 Nach ihm auf dem Berge baute Baruch, der Sohn Sabbais, ein anderes Stück vom Winkel bis an die Haustür Eljasibs, des Hohenpriesters.
Neh 3:21 After him repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah the son of Koz another piece, from the door of the house of Eliashib even to the end of the house of Eliashib. (kjv)	Neh.3:21 Nach ihm baute Meremoth, der Sohn Urias, des Sohnes Hakkoz, ein anderes Stück von der Haustür Eljasibs, bis an das Ende des Hauses Eljasibs,
Neh 3:22 And after him repaired the priests, the men of the plain. (kjv)	Neh.3:22 Nach ihm bauten die Priester, die Männer aus der Gegend.
Neh 3:23 After him repaired Benjamin and Hashub over against their house. After him repaired Azariah the son of Maaseiah the son of Ananiah by his house. (kjv)	Neh.3:23 Nach dem baute Benjamin und Hassub gegenüber ihrem Hause. Nach dem baute Asarja, der Sohn Maasejas, des Sohnes Ananjas, neben seinem Hause.
Neh 3:24 After him repaired Binnui the son of Henadad another piece, from the house of Azariah unto the turning of the wall, even unto the corner. (kjv)	Neh.3:24 Nach ihm baute Binnui, der Sohn Henadads, ein anderes Stück vom Hause Asarjas bis an den Winkel und bis an die Ecke.
Neh 3:25 Palal the son of Uzai, over against the turning of the wall, and the tower which lieth out from the king's high house, that was by the court of the prison. After him Pedaiah the son of Parosh. (kjv)	Neh.3:25 Palal, der Sohn Usais, gegenüber dem Winkel und den Oberen Turm, der vom Königshause heraussieht bei dem Kerkerhofe. Nach ihm Pedaja, der Sohn Pareos.
Neh 3:26 Moreover the Nethinims dwelt in Ophel, unto the place over against the water gate toward the east, and the tower that lieth out. (kjv)	Neh.3:26 Die Tempelknechte aber wohnten am Ophel bis an das Wassertor gegen Morgen, da der Turm heraussieht.
Neh 3:27 After them the Tekoites repaired another piece, over against the great tower that lieth out, even unto the wall of Ophel. (kjv)	Neh.3:27 Nach dem bauten die von Thekoa ein anderes Stück gegenüber dem großen Turm, der heraussieht, und bis an die Mauer des Ophel.
Neh 3:28 From above the horse gate repaired the priests, every one over against his house. (kjv)	Neh.3:28 Aber vom Roßtor an bauten die Priester, ein jeglicher gegenüber seinem Hause.
Neh 3:29 After them repaired Zadok the son of Immer over against his house. After him repaired also Shemaiah the son of Shechaniah, the keeper of the east gate. (kjv)	Neh.3:29 Nach dem baute Zadok, der Sohn Immers, gegenüber seinem Hause. Nach ihm baute Semaja, der Sohn Sechanjas, der Hüter des Tores gegen Morgen.
Neh 3:30 After him repaired Hananiah the son of Shelemiah, and Hanun the sixth son of Zalaph, another piece. After him repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah over against his chamber. (kjv)	Neh.3:30 Nach ihm baute Hananja, der Sohn Selemjas, und Hanun, der Sohn Zalaphs, der sechste, ein anderes Stück. Nach ihm baute Mesullam, der Sohn Berechjas, gegenüber seiner Kammer.
Neh 3:31 After him repaired Malchiah the goldsmith's son unto the place of the Nethinims, and of the merchants, over against the gate Miphkad, and to the going up of the corner. (kjv)	Neh.3:31 Nach ihm baute Malchia, der Sohn des Goldschmieds, bis an das Haus der Tempelknechte und der Krämer, gegenüber dem Ratstor und bis an den Söller an der Ecke.
Neh 3:32 And between the going up of the corner unto the sheep gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants.(kjv)	Neh.3:32 Und zwischen dem Söller und dem Schaftor bauten die Goldschmiede und die Krämer.
Neh 4:1 But it came to pass, that when Sanballat heard that we builded the wall, he was wroth, and took great indignation, and mocked the Jews. (kjv)	Neh.4:1 Da aber Saneballat hörte, daß wir die Mauer bauten, ward er zornig und sehr entrüstet und spottete der Juden
Neh 4:2 And he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these feeble Jews? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned? (kjv)	Neh.4:2 und sprach vor seinen Brüdern und den Mächtigen zu Samaria: Was machen die ohnmächtigen Juden? Wird man sie so lassen? Werden sie opfern? Werden sie es diesen Tag vollenden? Werden sie die Steine lebendig machen, die Schutthaufen und verbrannt sind?

Neh 4:4 Hear, O our God; for we are despised: and turn their reproach upon their own head, and give them for a prey in the land of captivity: (kjv)	Neh.4:4 Höre, unser Gott, wie verachtet sind wir! Kehre ihren Hohn auf ihren Kopf, daß du sie gibst in Verachtung im Lande ihrer Gefangenschaft.
Neh 4:5 And cover not their iniquity, and let not their sin be blotted out from before thee: for they have provoked thee to anger before the builders. (kjv)	Neh.4:5 Decke ihre Missetat nicht zu, und ihre Sünde vertilge nicht vor dir; denn sie haben vor den Bauleuten dich erzürnt.
Neh 4:6 So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work. (kjv)	Neh.4:6 Aber wir bauten die Mauer und fügten sie ganz aneinander bis an die halbe Höhe. Und das Volk gewann ein Herz zu arbeiten.
Neh 4:7 But it came to pass, that when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and the Arabians, and the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites, heard that the walls of Jerusalem were made up, and that the breaches began to be stopped, then they were very wroth, (kjv)	Neh.4:7 Da aber Saneballat und Tobia und die Araber und Ammoniter und Asdoditer hörten, daß die Mauern zu Jerusalem zugemacht wurden und daß sie die Lücken hatten angefangen zu verschließen, wurden sie sehr zornig
Neh 4:8 And conspired all of them together to come and to fight against Jerusalem, and to hinder it. (kjv)	Neh.4:8 und machten allesamt einen Bund zuhaufen, daß sie kämen und stritten wider Jerusalem und richteten darin Verwirrung an.
Neh 4:9 Nevertheless we made our prayer unto our God, and set a watch against them day and night, because of them. (kjv)	Neh.4:9 Wir aber beteten zu unserm Gott und stellten Hut gegen sie Tag und Nacht vor ihnen.
Neh 4:10 And Judah said, The strength of the bearers of burdens is decayed, and there is much rubbish; so that we are not able to build the wall. (kjv)	Neh.4:10 Und Juda sprach: Die Kraft der Träger ist zu schwach, und des Schuttes ist zu viel; wir können nicht an der Mauer bauen.
Neh 4:11 And our adversaries said, They shall not know, neither see, till we come in the midst among them, and slay them, and cause the work to cease. (kjv)	Neh.4:11 Unsre Widersacher aber gedachten: Sie sollen's nicht wissen noch sehen, bis wir mitten unter sie kommen und sie erwürgen und das Werk hindern.
Neh 4:12 And it came to pass, that when the Jews which dwelt by them came, they said unto us ten times, From all places whence ye shall return unto us they will be upon you. (kjv)	Neh.4:12 Da aber die Juden, die neben ihnen wohnten, kamen, und sagten's uns wohl zehnmal, aus allen Orten, da sie um uns wohnten,
Neh 4:13 Therefore set I in the lower places behind the wall, and on the higher places, I even set the people after their families with their swords, their spears, and their bows. (kjv)	Neh.4:13 da stellte ich unten an die Orte hinter der Mauer in die Gräben das Volk nach ihren Geschlechtern mit ihren Schwertern, Spießen und Bogen.
Neh 4:14 And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the LORD, which is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses. (kjv)	Neh.4:14 Und ich besah es und machte mich auf und sprach zu den Ratsherren und Obersten und dem andern Volk: Fürchtet euch nicht vor ihnen; gedenkt an den großen, schrecklichen HERRN und streitet für eure Brüder, Söhne, Töchter, Weiber und Häuser!
Neh 4:15 And it came to pass, when our enemies heard that it was known unto us, and God had brought their counsel to nought, that we returned all of us to the wall, every one unto his work. (kjv)	Neh.4:15 Da aber unsre Feinde hörten, daß es uns kund war geworden und Gott ihren Rat zunichte gemacht hatte, kehrten wir alle wieder zur Mauer, ein jeglicher zu seiner Arbeit.
Neh 4:16 And it came to pass from that time forth, that the half of my servants wrought in the work, and the other half of them held both the spears, the shields, and the bows, and the habergeons; and the rulers were behind all the house of Judah. (kjv)	Neh.4:16 Und es geschah von hier an, daß der Jünglinge die Hälfte taten die Arbeit, die andere Hälfte hielten die Spieße, Schilde, Bogen und Panzer. Und die Obersten standen hinter dem ganzen Hause Juda,
Neh 4:17 They which builded on the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon. (kjv)	Neh.4:17 die da bauten an der Mauer. Und die da Last trugen von denen, die ihnen aufluden, mit einer Hand taten sie die Arbeit, und mit der andern hielten sie die Waffe.
Neh 4:18 For the builders, every one had his sword girded by his side, and so builded. And he that sounded the trumpet was by me. (kjv)	Neh.4:18 Und ein jeglicher, der da baute, hatte sein Schwert an seine Lenden gegürtet und baute also; und der mit der Posaune blies, war neben mir.
Neh 4:19 And I said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, The work is great and large, and we are separated upon the wall, one far from another. (kjv)	Neh.4:19 Und ich sprach zu den Ratsherren und Obersten und zum andern Volk: Das Werk ist groß und weit, und wir sind zerstreut auf der Mauer, ferne voneinander.
Neh 4:20 In what place therefore ye hear the sound of the trumpet, resort ye thither unto us: our God shall fight for us. (kjv)	Neh.4:20 An welchem Ort ihr nun die Posaune tönen hört, dahin versammelt euch zu uns. Unser Gott wird für uns streiten.
Neh 4:21 So we laboured in the work: and half of them held the spears from the rising of the morning till the stars appeared. (kjv)	Neh.4:21 So arbeiteten wir am Werk, und ihre Hälfte hielt die Spieße von dem Aufgang der Morgenröte, bis die Sterne hervorkamen.
Neh 4:22 Likewise at the same time said I unto the people, Let every one with his servant lodge within Jerusalem, that in the night they may be a guard to us, and labour on the day. (kjv)	Neh.4:22 Auch sprach ich zu der Zeit zum Volk: Ein jeglicher bleibe mit seinen Leuten über Nacht zu Jerusalem, daß sie uns des Nachts der Hut und des Tages der Arbeit warten.
Neh 4:23 So neither I, nor my brethren, nor my servants, nor the men of the guard which followed me, none of us put off our clothes, saving that every one put them off for washing.(kjv)	Neh.4:23 Aber ich und meine Brüder und meine Leute und die Männer an der Hut hinter mir, wir zogen unsere Kleider nicht aus; ein jeglicher ließ das Baden anstehen.
Neh 5:1 And there was a great cry of the people and of their wives against their brethren the Jews. (kjv)	Neh.5:1 Und es erhob sich ein großes Geschrei des Volkes und ihrer Weiber wider ihre Brüder, die Juden.
Neh 5:2 For there were that said, We, our sons, and our daughters, are many: therefore we take up corn for them, that we may eat, and live. (kjv)	Neh.5:2 Und waren etliche, die da sprachen: Unserer Söhne und Töchter sind viel; laßt uns Getreide nehmen und essen, daß wir leben.
Neh 5:3 Some also there were that said, We have mortgaged our lands, vineyards, and houses, that we might buy corn, because of the dearth. (kjv)	Neh.5:3 Aber etliche sprachen: Laßt uns unsre Äcker, Weinberge und Häuser versetzen und Getreide nehmen in der Teuerung.
Neh 5:4 There were also that said, We have borrowed money for the king's tribute, and that upon our lands and vineyards. (kjv)	Neh.5:4 Etliche aber sprachen: Wir habe Geld entlehnt zum Schoß für den König auf unsre Äcker und Weinberge;
Neh 5:5 Yet now our flesh is as the flesh of our brethren, our children as their children: and, lo, we bring into bondage our sons and our daughters to be servants, and some of our daughters are brought unto bondage already: neither is it in our power to redeem them; for other men have our lands and vineyards. (kjv)	Neh.5:5 nun ist doch wie unsrer Brüder Leib auch unser Leib und wie ihre Kinder unsre Kinder, und siehe, wir müssen unsre Söhne und Töchter unterwerfen dem Dienst, und sind schon unsrer Töchter etliche unterworfen, und ist kein Vermögen in unsern Händen, und unsre Äcker und Weinberge sind der andern geworden.
Neh 5:6 And I was very angry when I heard their cry and these words. (kjv)	Neh.5:6 Da ich aber ihr Schreien und solche Worte hörte, ward ich sehr zornig.
Neh 5:7 Then I consulted with myself, and I rebuked the nobles, and the rulers, and said unto them, Ye exact usury, every one of his brother. And I set a great assembly against them. (kjv)	Neh.5:7 Und mein Herz ward Rats mit mir, daß ich schalt die Ratsherren und die Obersten und sprach zu ihnen: Wollt ihr einer auf den andern Wucher treiben? Und ich brachte die Gemeinde wider sie zusammen
Neh 5:8 And I said unto them, We after our ability have redeemed our brethren the Jews, which were sold unto the heathen; and will ye even sell your brethren? or shall they be sold unto us? Then held they their peace, and found nothing to answer. (kjv)	Neh.5:8 und sprach zu ihnen: Wir haben unsre Brüder, die Juden, erkauft die den Heiden verkauft waren, nach unserm Vermögen; und ihr wollt auch eure Brüder verkaufen und sie sollen uns verkauft werden? Da schwiegen sie und fanden nichts zu antworten.
Neh 5:9 Also I said, It is not good that ye do: ought ye not to walk in the fear of our God because of the reproach of the heathen our enemies? (kjv)	Neh.5:9 Und ich sprach: Es ist nicht gut, was ihr tut. Solltet ihr nicht in der Furcht Gottes wandeln um des Hohnes willen der Heiden, unsrer Feinde?
Neh 5:10 I likewise, and my brethren, and my servants, might exact of them money and corn: I pray you, let us leave off this usury. (kjv)	Neh.5:10 Ich und meine Brüder und meine Leute haben ihnen auch Geld geliehen und Getreide; laßt uns doch diese Schuld erlassen.
Neh 5:11 Restore, I pray you, to them, even this day, their lands, their vineyards, their oliveyards, and their houses, also the hundredth part of the money, and of the corn, the wine, and the oil, that ye exact of them. (kjv)	Neh.5:11 So gebt ihnen nun heute wieder ihre Äcker, Weinberge, Ölgärten und Häuser und den Hundertsten am Geld, am Getreide, am Most und am Öl, den ihr von ihnen zu fordern habt.
Neh 5:12 Then said they, We will restore them, and will require nothing of them; so will we do as thou sayest. Then I called the priests, and took an oath of them, that they should do according to this promise. (kjv)	Neh.5:12 Da sprachen sie: Wir wollen's wiedergeben und wollen nichts von ihnen fordern und wollen tun wie du gesagt hast. Und ich rief die Priester und nahm einen Eid von ihnen, daß sie also tun sollten.
Neh 5:13 Also I shook my lap, and said, So God shake out every man from his house, and from his labour, that performeth not this promise, even thus be he shaken out, and emptied. And all the congregation said, Amen, and praised the LORD. And the people did according to this promise. (kjv)	Neh.5:13 Auch schüttelte ich meinen Busen aus und sprach: Also schüttle Gott aus jedermann von seinem Hause und von seiner Arbeit, der dies Wort nicht handhabt, daß er sei ausgeschüttelt und leer. Und die ganze Gemeinde sprach: Amen! und lobte den HERRN. Und das Volk tat also.
Neh 5:14 Moreover from the time that I was appointed to be their governor in the land of Judah, from the twentieth year even unto the two and thirtieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that is, twelve years, I and my brethren have not eaten the bread of the governor. (kjv)	Neh.5:14 Auch von der Zeit an, da mir befohlen ward, ihr Landpfleger zu sein im Lande Juda, nämlich vom zwanzigsten Jahr an bis in das zweiunddreißigste Jahr des Königs Arthahsastha, das sind zwölf Jahre, nährte ich mich und meine Brüder nicht von der Landpfleger Kost.
Neh 5:15 But the former governors that had been before me were chargeable unto the people, and had taken of them bread and wine, beside forty shekels of silver; yea, even their servants bare rule over the people: but so did not I, because of the fear of God. (kjv)	Neh.5:15 Denn die vorigen Landpfleger, die vor mir gewesen waren, hatten das Volk beschwert und hatten von ihnen genommen Brot und Wein, dazu auch vierzig Silberlinge; auch waren die Leute mit Gewalt gefahren über das Volk. Ich tat aber nicht also um der Furcht Gottes willen.
Neh 5:16 Yea, also I continued in the work of this wall, neither bought we any land: and all my servants were gathered thither unto the work. (kjv)	Neh.5:16 Auch arbeitete ich an der Mauer Arbeit und kaufte keinen Acker; und alle meine Leute mußten daselbst an die Arbeit zuhauf kommen.
Neh 5:17 Moreover there were at my table an hundred and fifty of the Jews and rulers, beside those that came unto us from among the heathen that are about us. (kjv)	Neh.5:17 Dazu waren die Juden und Obersten hundertundfünfzig an meinem Tisch und die zu uns kamen aus den Heiden, die um uns her sind.
Neh 5:18 Now that which was prepared for me daily was one ox and six choice sheep; also fowls were prepared for me, and once in ten days store of all sorts of wine: yet for all this required not I the bread of the governor, because the bondage was heavy upon this people. (kjv)	Neh.5:18 Und man gebrauchte für mich des Tages einen Ochsen und sechs erwählte Schafe und Vögel und je innerhalb zehn Tagen allerlei Wein die Menge. Dennoch forderte ich nicht der Landpfleger Kost; denn der Dienst war schwer auf dem Volk.
Neh 5:19 Think upon me, my God, for good, according to all that I have done for this people.(kjv)	Neh.5:19 Gedenke mir, mein Gott, zum Besten alles, was ich diesem Volk getan habe!
Neh 6:1 Now it came to pass when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and Geshem the Arabian, and the rest of our enemies, heard that I had builded the wall, and that there was no breach left therein; (though at that time I had not set up the doors upon the gates;) (kjv)	Neh.6:1 Und da Saneballat, Tobia und Gesem, der Araber, und unsre Feinde erfuhren, daß ich die Mauer gebaut hatte und keine Lücke mehr daran wäre, wiewohl ich die Türen zu der Zeit noch nicht eingehängt hatte in den Toren,
Neh 6:2 That Sanballat and Geshem sent unto me, saying, Come, let us meet together in some one of the villages in the plain of Ono. But they thought to do me mischief. (kjv)	Neh.6:2 sandte Sanaballat und Gesem zu mir und ließen mir sagen: Komm und laß uns zusammenkommen in den Dörfern in der Fläche Ono! Sie gedachten mir aber Böses zu tun.
Neh 6:3 And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you? (kjv)	Neh.6:3 Ich aber sandte Boten zu ihnen und ließ ihnen sagen: Ich habe ein großes Geschäft auszurichten, ich kann nicht hinabkommen; es möchte das Werk nachbleiben, wo ich die Hände abtäte und zu euch hinabzöge.
Neh 6:4 Yet they sent unto me four times after this sort; and I answered them after the same manner. (kjv)	Neh.6:4 Sie sandten aber viermal zu mir auf diese Weise, und ich antwortete ihnen auf diese Weise.
Neh 6:5 Then sent Sanballat his servant unto me in like manner the fifth time with an open letter in his hand; (kjv)	Neh.6:5 Da sandte Saneballat zum fünftenmal zu mir seinen Diener mit einem offenen Brief in seiner Hand.
Neh 6:6 Wherein was written, It is reported among the heathen, and Gashmu saith it, that thou and the Jews think to rebel: for which cause thou buildest the wall, that thou mayest be their king, according to these words. (kjv)	Neh.6:6 Darin war geschrieben: Es ist vor die Heiden gekommen, und Gesem hat's gesagt, daß du und die Juden gedenkt abzufallen, darum du die Mauer baust, und wollest also König werden;
Neh 6:7 And thou hast also appointed prophets to preach of thee at Jerusalem, saying, There is a king in Judah: and now shall it be reported to the king according to these words. Come now therefore, and let us take counsel together. (kjv)	Neh.6:7 und du habest die Propheten bestellt, die von dir ausrufen sollen zu Jerusalem und sagen: Er ist der König Juda's. Nun, solches wird vor den König kommen. So komm nun und laß uns miteinander ratschlagen!
Neh 6:8 Then I sent unto him, saying, There are no such things done as thou sayest, but thou feignest them out of thine own heart. (kjv)	Neh.6:8 Ich aber sandte zu ihm und ließ ihm sagen: Solches ist nicht geschehen, was du sagst; du hast es aus deinem Herzen erdacht.
Neh 6:9 For they all made us afraid, saying, Their hands shall be weakened from the work, that it be not done. Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands. (kjv)	Neh.6:9 Denn sie alle wollen uns furchtsam machen und gedachten: Sie sollen die Hand abtun vom Geschäft, daß es nicht fertig werde, aber nun stärke meine Hände!
Neh 6:10 Afterward I came unto the house of Shemaiah the son of Delaiah the son of Mehetabeel, who was shut up; and he said, Let us meet together in the house of God, within the temple, and let us shut the doors of the temple: for they will come to slay thee; yea, in the night will they come to slay thee. (kjv)	Neh.6:10 Und ich kam in das Haus Semajas, des Sohnes Delajas, des Sohnes Mehetabeels; und er hatte sich verschlossen und sprach: Laß uns zusammenkommen im Hause Gottes mitten im Tempel und die Türen zuschließen; denn sie werden kommen, dich zu erwürgen, und werden bei der Nacht kommen, daß sie dich erwürgen.
Neh 6:11 And I said, Should such a man as I flee? and who is there, that, being as I am, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in. (kjv)	Neh.6:11 Ich aber sprach: Sollte ein solcher Mann fliehen? Sollte ein solcher Mann, wie ich bin, in den Tempel gehen, daß er lebendig bleibe? Ich will nicht hineingehen.
Neh 6:12 And, lo, I perceived that God had not sent him; but that he pronounced this prophecy against me: for Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him. (kjv)	Neh.6:12 Denn ich merkte, daß ihn Gott nicht gesandt hatte. Denn er sagte wohl Weissagung auf mich; aber Tobia und Saneballat hatten ihm Geld gegeben.
Neh 6:13 Therefore was he hired, that I should be afraid, and do so, and sin, and that they might have matter for an evil report, that they might reproach me. (kjv)	Neh.6:13 Darum nahm er Geld, auf daß ich mich fürchten sollte und also tun und sündigen, daß sie ein böses Gerücht hätten, damit sie mich lästern möchten.
Neh 6:14 My God, think thou upon Tobiah and Sanballat according to these their works, and on the prophetess Noadiah, and the rest of the prophets, that would have put me in fear. (kjv)	Neh.6:14 Gedenke, mein Gott, des Tobia und Saneballat nach diesen Werken, auch der Prophetin Noadja und der anderen Propheten, die mich wollten abschrecken!
Neh 6:15 So the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth day of the month Elul, in fifty and two days. (kjv)	Neh.6:15 Und die Mauer ward fertig am fünfundzwanzigsten Tage des Monats Elul in zweiundfünfzig Tagen.
Neh 6:16 And it came to pass, that when all our enemies heard thereof, and all the heathen that were about us saw these things, they were much cast down in their own eyes: for they perceived that this work was wrought of our God. (kjv)	Neh.6:16 Und da alle unsre Feinde das hörten, fürchteten sich alle Heiden, die um uns her waren, und der Mut entfiel ihnen; denn sie merkten, daß dies Werk von Gott war.
Neh 6:17 Moreover in those days the nobles of Judah sent many letters unto Tobiah, and the letters of Tobiah came unto them. (kjv)	Neh.6:17 Auch waren zu derselben Zeit viele der Obersten Juda's, deren Briefe gingen zu Tobia und von Tobia zu ihnen.
Neh 6:18 For there were many in Judah sworn unto him, because he was the son in law of Shechaniah the son of Arah; and his son Johanan had taken the daughter of Meshullam the son of Berechiah. (kjv)	Neh.6:18 Denn ihrer waren viel in Juda, die ihm geschworen waren; denn er war der Eidam Sechanjas, des Sohnes Arahs, und sein Sohn Johanan hatte die Tochter Mesullams, des Sohnes Berechjas.
Neh 6:19 Also they reported his good deeds before me, and uttered my words to him. And Tobiah sent letters to put me in fear.(kjv)	Neh.6:19 Und sie sagten Gutes von ihm vor mir und brachten meine Reden aus zu ihm. So sandte denn Tobia Briefe, mich abzuschrecken.
Neh 7:1 Now it came to pass, when the wall was built, and I had set up the doors, and the porters and the singers and the Levites were appointed, (kjv)	Neh.7:1 Da wir nun die Mauer gebaut hatten, hängte ich die Türen ein und wurden bestellt die Torhüter, Sänger und Leviten.
Neh 7:2 That I gave my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the ruler of the palace, charge over Jerusalem: for he was a faithful man, and feared God above many. (kjv)	Neh.7:2 Und ich gebot meinem Bruder Hanani und Hananja, dem Burgvogt zu Jerusalem (denn er war ein treuer Mann und gottesfürchtig vor vielen andern),
Neh 7:3 And I said unto them, Let not the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun be hot; and while they stand by, let them shut the doors, and bar them: and appoint watches of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one in his watch, and every one to be over against his house. (kjv)	Neh.7:3 und sprach zu Ihnen: Man soll die Tore Jerusalem nicht auftun, bis daß die Sonne heiß wird; und wenn man noch auf der Hut steht, soll man die Türen zuschlagen und verriegeln. Und es wurden Hüter bestellt aus den Bürgern Jerusalems, ein jeglicher auf seine Hut seinem Hause gegenüber.
Neh 7:4 Now the city was large and great: but the people were few therein, and the houses were not builded. (kjv)	Neh.7:4 Die Stadt aber war weit von Raum und groß, aber wenig Volk darin, und die Häuser wurden nicht gebaut.
Neh 7:5 And my God put into mine heart to gather together the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be reckoned by genealogy. And I found a register of the genealogy of them which came up at the first, and found written therein, (kjv)	Neh.7:5 Und mein Gott gab mir ins Herz, daß ich versammelte die Ratsherren und die Obersten und das Volk, sie zu verzeichnen. Und ich fand das Geschlechtsregister derer, die vorhin heraufgekommen waren, und fand darin geschrieben:
Neh 7:6 These are the children of the province, that went up out of the captivity, of those that had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and came again to Jerusalem and to Judah, every one unto his city; (kjv)	Neh.7:6 Dies sind die Kinder der Landschaft, die heraufgekommen sind aus der Gefangenschaft, die Nebukadnezar, der König zu Babel, hatte weggeführt, und die wieder gen Jerusalem und nach Juda kamen, ein jeglicher in seine Stadt,
Neh 7:7 Who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah. The number, I say, of the men of the people of Israel was this; (kjv)	Neh.7:7 und sind gekommen mit Serubabel, Jesua, Nehemia, Asarja, Raamja, Nahamani, Mardochai, Bilsan, Mispereth, Bigevai, Nehum und Baana. Dies ist die Zahl der Männer vom Volk Israel:
Neh 7:8 The children of Parosh, two thousand an hundred seventy and two. (kjv)	Neh.7:8 der Kinder Pareos waren zweitausend einhundert und zweiundsiebzig;
Neh 7:9 The children of Shephatiah, three hundred seventy and two. (kjv)	Neh.7:9 der Kinder Sephatja dreihundert und zweiundsiebzig;

Neh 9:12 Moreover thou leddest them in the day by a cloudy pillar; and in the night by a pillar of fire, to give them light in the way wherein they should go. Neh 9:20 Thou gavest also thy good spirit to instruct them, and withheldest not thy manna from their mouth, and gavest them water for their thirst. Neh 9:22 Moreover thou gavest them kingdoms and nations, and didst divide them into corners: so they possessed the land of Sihon, and the land of the king of Heshbon, and the land of Og king of Bashan. Neh 9:29 And testifiedst against them, that thou mightest bring them again unto thy law: yet they dealt proudly, and hearkened not unto thy commandments, but sinned against thy judgments, (which if a man do, he shall live in them;) and withdrew the shoulder, and hardened their neck, and would not hear. (kjv)	Neh.9:29 Und du ließest ihnen bezeugen, daß sie sich bekehren sollten zu deinem Gesetz. Aber sie waren stolz und gehorchten deinen Geboten nicht und sündigten an deinen Rechten (durch welche ein Mensch lebt, so er sie tut) und kehrten dir den Rücken zu und wurden halsstarrig und gehorchten nicht.
Neh 9:30 Yet many years didst thou forbear them, and testifiedst against them by thy spirit in thy prophets: yet would they not give ear: therefore gavest thou them into the hand of the people of the lands. Neh 9:31 Nevertheless for thy great mercies' sake thou didst not utterly consume them, nor forsake them; for thou art a gracious and merciful God. Daselbst sind die Gefäße des Heiligtums und die Priester, die da dienen, und die Torhüter und Sänger. So wollen wir das Haus unsres Gottes nicht verlassen.
Neh 11:1 And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in other cities. Neh 13:4 And before this, Eliashib the priest, having the oversight of the chamber of the house of our God, was allied unto Tobiah: (kjv)	Neh.13:4 Und vor dem hatte der Priester Eljasib, der gesetzt war über die Kammern am Hause unsres Gottes, ein Verwandter des Tobia, demselben eine große Kammer gemacht;
Neh 13:5 And he had prepared for him a great chamber, where aforetime they laid the meat offerings, the frankincense, and the vessels, and the tithes of the corn, the new wine, and the oil, which was commanded to be given to the Levites, and the singers, and the porters; and the offerings of the priests. (kjv)	Neh.13:5 und dahin hatten sie zuvor gelegt Speisopfer, Weihrauch, Geräte und die Zehnten vom Getreide, Most und Öl, die Gebühr der Leviten, Sänger und Torhüter, dazu die Hebe der Priester.
Neh 13:6 But in all this time was not I at Jerusalem: for in the two and thirtieth year of Artaxerxes king of Babylon came I unto the king, and after certain days obtained I leave of the king: (kjv)	Neh.13:6 Aber bei diesem allem war ich nicht zu Jerusalem; denn im zweiunddreißigsten Jahr Arthahsasthas, des Königs zu Babel, kam ich zum König, und nach etlicher Zeit erwarb ich vom König,
Neh 13:7 And I came to Jerusalem, and understood of the evil that Eliashib did for Tobiah, in preparing him a chamber in the courts of the house of God. (kjv)	Neh.13:7 daß ich gen Jerusalem zog. Und ich merkte, daß nicht gut war, was Eljasib an Tobia getan hatte, da er sich eine Kammer machte im Hofe am Hause Gottes;
Neh 13:8 And it grieved me sore: therefore I cast forth all the household stuff to Tobiah out of the chamber. (kjv)	Neh.13:8 und es verdroß mich sehr, und ich warf alle Geräte vom Hause hinaus vor die Kammer
Neh 13:9 Then I commanded, and they cleansed the chambers: and thither brought I again the vessels of the house of God, with the meat offering and the frankincense. (kjv)	Neh.13:9 und hieß, daß sie die Kammern reinigten; und ich brachte wieder dahin das Gerät des Hauses Gottes, das Speisopfer und den Weihrauch.
Neh 13:10 And I perceived that the portions of the Levites had not been given them: for the Levites and the singers, that did the work, were fled every one to his field. (kjv)	Neh.13:10 Und ich erfuhr, daß der Leviten Teile ihnen nicht gegeben waren, derhalben die Leviten und die Sänger, die das Geschäft des Amts ausrichten sollten, geflohen waren, ein jeglicher zu seinen Acker.
Neh 13:11 Then contended I with the rulers, and said, Why is the house of God forsaken? And I gathered them together, and set them in their place. (kjv)	Neh.13:11 Da schalt ich die Obersten und sprach: Warum ist das Haus Gottes verlassen? Aber ich versammelte sie und stellte sie an ihre Stätte.
Neh 13:12 Then brought all Judah the tithe of the corn and the new wine and the oil unto the treasuries. (kjv)	Neh.13:12 Da brachte ganz Juda den Zehnten vom Getreide, Most und Öl zum Vorrat.
Neh 13:13 And I made treasurers over the treasuries, Shelemiah the priest, and Zadok the scribe, and of the Levites, Pedaiah: and next to them was Hanan the son of Zaccur, the son of Mattaniah: for they were counted faithful, and their office was to distribute unto their brethren. (kjv)	Neh.13:13 Und ich setzte über die Vorräte Selemja, den Priester, und Zadok, den Schriftgelehrten, und aus den Leviten Pedaja und ihnen zur Hand Hanan, den Sohn Sakkurs, des Sohnes Matthanjas; denn sie wurden für treu gehalten, und ihnen ward befohlen, ihren Brüdern auszuteilen.
Neh 13:14 Remember me, O my God, concerning this, and wipe not out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God, and for the offices thereof. (kjv)	Neh.13:14 Gedenke, mein Gott, mir daran und tilge nicht aus meine Barmherzigkeit, die ich an meines Gottes Hause und an seinem Dienst getan habe!
Neh 13:15 In those days saw I in Judah some treading wine presses on the sabbath, and bringing in sheaves, and lading asses; as also wine, grapes, and figs, and all manner of burdens, which they brought into Jerusalem on the sabbath day: and I testified against them in the day wherein they sold victuals. (kjv)	Neh.13:15 Zur selben Zeit sah ich in Juda Kelter treten am Sabbat und Garben hereinbringen und Esel, beladen mit Wein, Trauben, Feigen und allerlei Last, gen Jerusalem bringen am Sabbattag. Und ich zeugte wider sie des Tages, da sie die Nahrung verkauften.
Neh 13:16 There dwelt men of Tyre also therein, which brought fish, and all manner of ware, and sold on the sabbath unto the children of Judah, and in Jerusalem. (kjv)	Neh.13:16 Es wohnten auch Tyrer darin; die brachten Fische und allerlei Ware und verkauften's am Sabbat den Kinder Juda's in Jerusalem.
Neh 13:17 Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the sabbath day? (kjv)	Neh.13:17 Da schalt ich die Obersten in Juda und sprach zu ihnen: Was ist das für ein böses Ding, das ihr tut, und brecht den Sabbattag?
Neh 13:18 Did not your fathers thus, and did not our God bring all this evil upon us, and upon this city? yet ye bring more wrath upon Israel by profaning the sabbath. (kjv)	Neh.13:18 Taten nicht eure Väter also, und unser Gott führte all dies Unglück über uns und über diese Stadt? Und ihr macht des Zorns über Israel noch mehr, daß ihr den Sabbat brecht!
Neh 13:19 And it came to pass, that when the gates of Jerusalem began to be dark before the sabbath, I commanded that the gates should be shut, and charged that they should not be opened till after the sabbath: and some of my servants set I at the gates, that there should no burden be brought in on the sabbath day. (kjv)	Neh.13:19 Und da es in den Toren zu Jerusalem dunkel ward vor dem Sabbat, hieß ich die Türen zuschließen und befahl, man sollte sie nicht auftun bis nach dem Sabbat. Und ich bestellte meiner Leute etliche an die Tore, daß man keine Last hereinbrächte am Sabbattage.
Neh 13:20 So the merchants and sellers of all kind of ware lodged without Jerusalem once or twice. (kjv)	Neh.13:20 Da blieben die Krämer und Verkäufer mit allerlei Ware über Nacht draußen vor Jerusalem, ein Mal oder zwei.
Neh 13:21 Then I testified against them, and said unto them, Why lodge ye about the wall? if ye do so again, I will lay hands on you. From that time forth came they no more on the sabbath. (kjv)	Neh.13:21 Da zeugte ich wider sie und sprach zu ihnen: Warum bleibt ihr über Nacht um die Mauer? Werdet ihr's noch einmal tun, so will ich Hand an euch legen. Von der Zeit an kamen sie des Sabbats nicht.
Neh 13:22 And I commanded the Levites that they should cleanse themselves, and that they should come and keep the gates, to sanctify the sabbath day. Remember me, O my God, concerning this also, and spare me according to the greatness of thy mercy. (kjv)	Neh.13:22 Und ich sprach zu den Leviten, daß sie sich reinigten und kämen und hüteten die Tore, zu heiligen den Sabbattag. Mein Gott, gedenke mir des auch und schone mein nach deiner großen Barmherzigkeit.
Neh 13:23 In those days also saw I Jews that had married wives of Ashdod, of Ammon, and of Moab: (kjv)	Neh.13:23 Ich sah auch zu der Zeit Juden, die Weiber genommen hatten von Asdod, Ammon und Moab.
Neh 13:24 And their children spake half in the speech of Ashdod, and could not speak in the Jews' language, but according to the language of each people. (kjv)	Neh.13:24 Und ihre Kinder redeten die Hälfte asdodisch und konnten nicht jüdisch reden, sondern nach der Sprache eines jeglichen Volks.
Neh 13:25 And I contended with them, and cursed them, and smote certain of them, and plucked off their hair, and made them swear by God, saying, Ye shall not give your daughters unto their sons, nor take their daughters unto your sons, or for yourselves. (kjv)	Neh.13:25 Und ich schalt sie und fluchte ihnen und schlug etliche Männer und raufte sie und nahm einen Eid von ihnen bei Gott: Ihr sollt eure Töchter nicht geben ihren Söhnen noch ihre Töchter nehmen euren Söhnen oder euch selbst.
Neh 13:26 Did not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things? yet among many nations was there no king like him, who was beloved of his God, and God made him king over all Israel: nevertheless even him did outlandish women cause to sin. (kjv)	Neh.13:26 Hat nicht Salomo, der König Israels, daran gesündigt? Und war doch in vielen Heiden kein König ihm gleich, und er war seinem Gott lieb, und Gott setzte ihn zum König über ganz Israel; dennoch machten ihn die ausländischen Weiber sündigen.
Neh 13:27 Shall we then hearken unto you to do all this great evil, to transgress against our God in marrying strange wives? (kjv)	Neh.13:27 Und von euch muß man das hören, daß ihr solches Übel tut, euch an unserm Gott zu vergreifen und ausländische Weiber zu nehmen?
Neh 13:28 And one of the sons of Joiada, the son of Eliashib the high priest, was son in law to Sanballat the Horonite: therefore I chased him from me. (kjv)	Neh.13:28 Und einer aus den Kindern Jojadas, des Sohnes Eljasibs, des Hohenpriesters, war Saneballats, des Horoniters, Eidam; aber ich jagte ihn von mir.
Neh 13:29 Remember them, O my God, because they have defiled the priesthood, and the covenant of the priesthood, and of the Levites. (kjv)	Neh.13:29 Gedenke an sie, mein Gott, daß sie das Priestertum befleckt haben und den Bund des Priestertums und der Leviten!
Neh 13:30 Thus cleansed I them from all strangers, and appointed the wards of the priests and the Levites, every one in his business; (kjv)	Neh.13:30 Also reinigte ich sie von allem Ausländischen und bestellte den Dienst der Priester und Leviten, einen jeglichen zu seinem Geschäft,
Neh 13:31 And for the wood offering, at times appointed, and for the firstfruits. Remember me, O my God, for good.(kjv)	Neh.13:31 und für die Opfergaben an Holz zu bestimmten Zeiten und für die Erstlinge. Gedenke meiner, mein Gott, im Besten!
